Amanda L. Straub joined the litigation department at Wachtell, Lipton, Rosen & Katz in 2006. She focuses on corporate and securities litigation, including mergers and acquisitions litigation and government investigative proceedings.
Ms. Straub received a B.A., summa cum laude, from Marquette University in 1995. After working as a writer and editor, she attended Harvard Law School, where she was an Executive Editor of the Harvard Law Review, receiving her J.D., magna cum laude, in 2004. In Fall 2004, Ms. Straub was a member of the Wachtell, Lipton trial team that won a jury verdict against a number of insurers on behalf of the leaseholder of the World Trade Center on 9/11. In 2005, Ms. Straub clerked for the Honorable Denise Cote of the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York. She is admitted to practice in the State of New York.
Ms. Straub is a member of the Association of the Bar of the City of New York. |
