Benjamin M. Roth is a partner in the corporate department at Wachtell, Lipton, Rosen & Katz. Mr. Roth’s practice focuses primarily on domestic and cross-border mergers and acquisitions, leveraged buyouts and other private equity transactions, and general corporate and securities matters. His practice also includes securities offerings, corporate governance and legal compliance. Mr. Roth has advised a broad range of public and private companies and financial sponsors in a variety of industries involving transactions in the United States and abroad.

Mr. Roth received a B.S. in Foreign Service magna cum laude from Georgetown University’s School of Foreign Service in 1998 and received his J.D. with honors from Stanford Law School in 2001. He served as Co-Editor-in-Chief of the Stanford Journal of Law, Business and Finance.

Mr. Roth is a member of The Association of the Bar of the City of New York, the New York State Bar Association and the American Bar Association.
