Garrett B. Moritz joined Wachtell Lipton’s litigation department in 2004. Mr. Moritz’s practice includes representing corporations, directors and officers in litigation involving mergers and acquisitions, corporate governance disputes, securities fraud class actions, and other complex civil litigation.

Mr. Moritz received an A.B. degree, summa cum laude, from Harvard University in 2000, where he was a member of Phi Beta Kappa. He received a J.D. degree, magna cum laude, from the Harvard Law School in 2003, where he was Managing Editor of the Harvard Law Review. In 2003-2004, he was a law clerk to the Honorable Robert D. Sack of the United States Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit.

Mr. Moritz is admitted to practice in the State of New York; the U.S. District Courts for the Southern District of New York, the Eastern District of New York and the Eastern District of Wisconsin; and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit.
