Philip Mindlin is a partner at Wachtell Lipton Rosen & Katz. He represents buyers and sellers of distressed assets, lenders and borrowers in leveraged transactions and parties in interest in bankruptcy cases and out-of-court workouts.

His experience includes representation of key parties in the distress transactions involving Refco Group, Cable and Wireless plc's US subsidiaries, Aleris International, Bear Stearns, Lehman Brothers, Olympia & York, FINOVA Capital, At Home Corp, National Golf Properties, Safelite Glass, NorthPoint Communications, American Commercial Lines, Kingston Square Associates and PA Bergner & Co.

Mr. Mindlin received his Bachelor of Arts from the University of Pennsylvania and his Juris Doctor, magna cum laude, from Fordham University, where he was a member of the Fordham Law Review and a recipient of the Stillman Memorial Prize, the Chapin Prize and the Constitutional Law Medal. Mr Mindlin joined Wachtell Lipton in 1985 and became a partner of the firm in 1991.
