| Ralph M. Levene is a member of the firm's Litigation Department. His practice includes the representation of financial institutions, as well as Fortune 500 companies, in connection with the defense of regulatory, white-collar criminal and complex civil litigation matters. He also advises clients on the development and implementation of compliance programs and the conduct of internal investigations. He has significant litigation and counseling experience in a number of substantive areas, including securities, commodities, healthcare and the False Claims Act.
Mr. Levene joined the firm in 1988 after completing a clerkship with the Honorable James Dickson Phillips, Jr. of the United States Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit.
Mr. Levene received his bachelor's degree in philosophy, magna cum laude, from Duke University in 1983. He received his law degree, magna cum laude, from the University of Pennsylvania School of Law where he was elected to the Order of the Coif. While at the University of Pennsylvania, Mr. Levene served as an associate editor and articles editor for the University of Pennsylvania Law Review. |
