With a background in litigation and insolvency practice, Meyer has helped to fashion and negotiate some of the largest and most creative settlements over the last twenty years. Along with major class action asbestos and disabled persons settlements, Meyer was the principal negotiator of the Master Settlement Agreement that resolved issues between the major tobacco companies and the states. He helped achieve a resolution of the issues in the first large multijurisdictional insolvency proceeding for the bank creditors of Maxwell Communications. His recognized expertise is in the resolution of complicated and contentious legal and business issues.
