Catherine Hardee joined the litigation department at Wachtell Lipton in 2006. Ms. Hardee focuses on corporate and securities litigation, including mergers and acquisitions litigation and government investigative proceedings.
Ms. Hardee received her B.A., cum laude, from the University of Washington in 1998. After serving as a volunteer in the United States Peace Corps, she attended New York University Law School, receiving her J.D., magna cum laude, in 2004. While at New York University Law School, Ms. Hardee was a Pomeroy Scholar, a Florence Allen Scholar, a member of the Order of the Coif and an Articles Editor of the New York University Law Review. In 2005, Ms. Hardee clerked for the Honorable Kim McLane Wardlaw of the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals. She is admitted to practice in the State of New York.
Ms. Hardee is the author of Balancing Acts: The Rights of Women and Cultural Minorities in Kenyan Marital Law, 79 N.Y.U. L. Rev. 712 (2004). She is a member of the New York State Bar Association and the Association of the Bar of the City of New York. |
