Stephen G. Gellman is a partner in the Real Estate Department at Wachtell, Lipton, Rosen & Katz, focusing on joint ventures, real estate development transactions, purchase and sale transactions, financings (including mortgage loans, mezzanine loans, construction loans, and credit facilities), hotel acquisitions and developments, mergers and acquisitions of real estate investment trusts, and restructurings. Among other major transactions, Mr. Gellman has been involved in the redevelopment of the World Trade Center site as counsel to Silverstein Properties.
Mr. Gellman received a B.A. from Haverford College (magna cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa), and a J.D. from Stanford Law School, where he was a member of the Stanford Law Review. Mr. Gellman writes and lectures frequently on various real estate-related topics. |
